Spot Rates Continue To Increase After Memorial Day

According to the latest report from the DAT, national averages for van rates and reefer rates increased 4 cents between May 27-June 2. Potential factors that contributed to these increases include the scarcity of trucks compared to demand and higher fuel rates. See more here.

Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance To Conduct Roadchecks In June 2018.

On June 5-7, 2018, the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance will be sponsoring their annual 72-hour event focused on increasing enforcement on driver safety. Last year, almost 1 in 4 commercial vehicles were placed out of service due to non-compliance during inspections. This year's roadchecks could have a significant impact during this time of driver shortage. See more here.

  •  BAF (IPI/MLB):  $13 / 13 / 596 / 662 / 745 / 838 up $0 / 0 / 23 / 25 / 28 / 32
  •  BAF (USEC/RIPI/GULF):  $15 / 15 / 674 / 749 / 843 / 950 down $0 / 0 / 10 / 11 / 12 / 12
