Air Freight Rates On The Rise

The worldwide aircraft fleet is estimated to increase by 70 percent in the next 20 years as air cargo traffic is forecasted to more than double. Fast growing e-commerce combined with general cargo is generating higher than normal levels of air traffic. Air cargo demand is expected to expand by 4-5 percent this year. China-North America air freight rates are expected to continue to rise as peak season approaches. See more here.
